Customized DoS rules help prevent attacks on specific farm services.

To create a new DoS rule, select Actions > Create DoS rule and fill in the required fields:

Name. Provide a descriptive name for the rule.
Rule. Choose the type of DoS rule to create. Options include:

• Connection limit per second: Sets a rate limit for new inbound connections per second per source IP.
• Total connections limit per source IP: Limits the number of established connections per source IP.
• Check bogus TCP flags: Protects against packets with bogus TCP flags.
• Limit RST request per second: Limits the number of RST packets per second for TCP connections.

Once all required data is entered, click the Create button to generate the new DoS rule.

After creating the DoS rule, you can assign it to any farm to protect its services.
