This section provides instructions on how to update files within the WAF module. These files are integral to the WAF analysis process for both requests and responses. Once created, these files can be associated with specific WAF rules in the IPDS > WAF > Ruleset section of the WAF module.

Parameters for Updating Files:

Name. Enter a descriptive name for the file.
Type. The file type cannot be modified in the update view, but it can be modified to:

• LUA. Allows customization of allowed ciphers.
• Data file. Used for additional files like blacklists, file extension lists, and other types of information to enhance WAF rules.

Content file. Modify the content of the file in the previously selected format. This allows adjustments to the file content while maintaining its intended purpose within the WAF module.
