Configuring RBAC Users #

Use the following parameters when configuring RBAC users:

User. A descriptive label for the user. This name is non-editable.
Service. This field is informational and cannot be modified. It shows where the user will be registered and validated.
Group. Displays a list of available groups. You must select a group for the current user. If the user doesn’t belong to any group, permissions cannot be granted, and the user will not have access to the Load Balancer. This field is required.
Enable Web GUI Permissions. Grants the user permission to access the Load Balancer through the Web GUI if enabled. If not enabled, the user will not have access.
Enable API Permissions. Grants the user permission to use the RELIANOID API if enabled. If not enabled, the user will not have API access.
API Key. To use the API, a unique and secret API Key must be set in this field. API permissions cannot be enabled without defining an API Key. Each user must have a unique key. Use the Generate Random Key button to create a new secure random key.

Changing Password for Local Users #

For local users, you can change the current password by clicking on Change Password, which will display the following fields:
New Password. Allows you to set a new password for the user.
Repeat New Password. Confirms that the new password entered matches the first. This field is mandatory for security purposes.

Finally, to apply these changes, click on the green Apply button.
