# System | Notifications | Configure Alerts

In this section, you will set up alert services, backends, and clusters. After adjusting the configuration options, simply click the **Apply** button. For visual guidance, refer to the screenshot below:

Key features include:
  **Prefix Subject**. Configures a prefix for email subjects generated by the system.
  **Avoid Flapping Time**. Prevents excessive backend status notifications by setting a delay period. Changes take effect after this period expires; if status changes during this time, notifications are suppressed.
  **Revert changes**. Restores all form fields to their previous values.
  **Cancel**. Discards any changes made and closes the dialog window.
