# Network | Gateway

This section guides users on how to configure a **Default Gateway** for IPv4 and IPv6 in the global routing table within the **RELIANOID load balancer**. The default gateway enables devices on a LAN to access the Internet.

The table below displays the default Gateway used by the load balancer for both IPv4 and IPv6.

**Address**. The IP address of the default gateway. Supports both IPv4 and IPv6.
**Interface**. The local interface used by default for outbound traffic.
**Actions**. Use these actions to manage the default gateway:

- **Configure**. Sets up the default gateway for the load balancer in its respective stack.
- **Unset**. Removes the configured default gateway.

These settings ensure efficient routing for both IPv4 and IPv6 traffic, enabling seamless connectivity for LAN devices to access the Internet through the load balancer.
