# Monitoring | Farm Guardian | Create

A user may extend the Farmguardian by creating custom **farmguardian** checks. These can copy from other checks and will use those properties to change their parameters and modify the behavior of the default check.

So, you will create a new custom **farmguardian** check in this section

Name. Set a name for the new Farmguardian health check.
  Copy farmguardian. This is optional. Use this field to select from the suggested health checks.

Click the Apply button to confirm the new **farmguardian** profile.
