# DSLB | Farms | Create

To create a DSLB farm, navigate to the **DSLB > Farms** section and click the **Create Farm** button. This will display a form with the minimum required configuration for a DSLB farm:

**Name**. A name that easily identifies the selected DSLB farm from the farm list.
  **Virtual IP**. An IP address assigned to a network interface, configured for the new farm. This IP address will act as the default gateway to balance requests from the Internet or WAN uplinks.
  **Copy from farm**. Use configurations from another farm that you have already created.

Once the new farm details have been entered, click the **Apply** button.
