# Upgrade from Community v5 to Enterprise v6.2

The aim of this guide is to provide a step by step procedure to upgrade from RELIANOID ADC Load Balancer Community Edition v5 to Enterprise Edition v6.2 maintaining all the configurations and with the minimum downtime.

## Pre-requisites

**1.** Have version 5.x Community Edition appliance already installed.
 **2.** Update to the latest v5 version.
 **3.** Before applying this upgrade, a full backup is recommended.
 **4.** You need to acquire an [Enterprise Edition Load Balancer license](https://www.relianoid.com/campaigns/upgrade-to-enterprise/) and download the files provided.

## Upgrading Community to Enterprise

**1.** Download the RAR file provided once the license is purchased and uncompress the file.
 **2.** Please follow the instructions included in the PDF **RELIANOID ADC Migration Guide** included in the RAR file.
 **3.** Finally, reboot the system and you've running a Enterprise Edition with all the features and configuration migrated.
